The reason centipedes Mardonius parilis don't have offspring

Изображение
It is a predatory Lithobius forficatus. Probably got into the terrarium with moss or rotten wood. They are not dangerous for an adult Mardonius parilis, but they can eat babies whose chitin has not yet matured and who still do not know how to defend themselves.

My first snake

Изображение
As a child, I watched a cartoon about a guy who saved a cat, a dog and a snake, and these animals later helped him. Therefore, I named my first snake Scarapea, as in that cartoon. You can see her other high-resolution photos here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/my-first-snake-44636145

Urban Lizard

Изображение
Such lizards live in our city. But to notice them, you need to be very careful. They rarely cross the road. They often hide in the grass and stones at the roadside. They are not afraid of city noise, but they try not to catch the eye of people.

Columbus

When we heard the rustle of a rodent, we thought we had a mouse. But the cat Kuzya caught the hamster. I could not imagine that hamsters can hiss, but this one hissed, and the cat released him in surprise. I caught it like a dangerous spider or scorpion, covering it with a container so that the hamster could not bite me. But the hamster turned out to be tame and affectionate. We posted ads that we found a hamster. Maybe someone is looking for him. Nobody responded. Now the hamster lives with us. We named him Columbus.
